GCGAPNA endorses the Mission Statement, Purpose and Goals of the national organization GAPNA.

MISSION STATEMENT 

GCGAPNA advances the practice of its members and the well-being of the public through advocacy, dissemination of knowledge and provision of member growth opportunities.

PURPOSE

The purpose of GCGAPNA shall be to promote high standards of health care for older adults through advanced gerontological nursing practice, education, and research.

GOALS 

Promote professional development.

• Provide continuing gerontological education.
• Enhance communication and professional collaboration among healthcare providers.
• Educate consumers regarding issues of aging.
