CAPNI is a professional organization with the purpose of promoting the practice of APRNs that includes Nurse Practitioners, Certified Nurse Midwives, and Clinical Nurse Specialists in the state of Indiana.

Our objective is to serve our peers by providing the following

 Collaboration:

• Among APRNs
• With other health care professionals

Advancement of the APRN role:

• Increased public and professional awareness
• Enhanced utilization of APRNs

Education:

• Develop, participate in, and sponsor educational activities for APRNs
• Provide opportunities to support the education of APRN students

Advocacy:

• Protect the role of the APRNs as defined by law
• Initiate, facilitate, support legislation favorable to APRNs
